Malloreddus, or "Gnochetti Sardi" (little Sardinian Gnocchi), is the Sardinian word for "gnocchi". Made of semolina flour and appreciated all over the island, you can serve Malloreddus in several different ways but the traditional dish using is called "Malloreddus alla Campidanese". Alla campidanese refers to the sauce made of fresh tomato, pork sausage, and saffron.
